Seoul, South Korea — Ideatec has been selected to provide its no-code iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution for the “Seoul Metro Real-Time Subway Usage Data Open Project.” Under this initiative, Ideatec will support Seoul Metro in automating API generation and system integration to enhance real-time public data services.
The project aims to improve commuter convenience by offering real-time subway usage information to the public while expanding access to public data. However, public institutions often face practical limitations, such as complex API development processes and a shortage of skilled developers. Transitioning from legacy PUBC-based methods to modern gateway and open API frameworks also presents significant operational challenges.
To overcome these obstacles, Ideatec is deploying its no-code iPaaS platform, which allows secure and efficient API creation and integration without requiring extensive coding. The platform includes key features such as API gateway management, authentication, and access control—enabling public organizations to ensure both data security and seamless system interoperability.
By leveraging iPaaS, Seoul Metro is expected to significantly reduce implementation time and costs, simplify IT operations, and improve public service performance.
Ideatec’s iPaaS solution has already been adopted by multiple public agencies, including the National Pension Service, Korean Red Cross, Korea Real Estate Board, KINTEX, Korea Western Power, Korea South-East Power, Korea Media Rating Board, and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation.
The company was recognized with the Innovation Product Award for its contributions to advancing public sector IT efficiency. “This project with Seoul Metro reaffirms the strength and competitiveness of our no-code integration platform.” said a spokesperson from Ideatec. “We are proud to support public agencies in modernizing their digital infrastructure with secure and scalable solutions.”
